It is what it is or at least as it should be. If it isn't then there is a problem and if there is a problem then we are all in a bit of a tangle and if it is a net cast in the water then we are all hearing the Jaws Music Theme and even if it is in reverse then there is something to worry about because we are probably all in the belly of the shark already and there is no power in Heaven and Hell and Earth that is interested in putting us back together again except our own stupid will to survive. So we make friends with plankton and hope this works.

This is not an explanation. This is a genuine worry I have.

I’ve never been a huge fan of contemporary dance, but Pina Bausch is someone I have always respected. Her choreography pieces are eerie and moving. This clip is from the Wim Wanders documentary about Pina and her work, and needless to say, it captures the majesty of fluid movement in all its glory (read: 3D).
